Tina R. Libertini, age 66 of Brownsville, PA passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 with her loving family by her side.
She was born on December 3, 1958 in Brownsville, PA daughter to Pauline "Pie" Martin of Brownsville, PA and the late Carl "Shop" Martin.
She graduated from Brownsville Area High School and Washington Hospital School of Nursing.
Tina was a devoted registered nurse for 46 years at Brownsville General Hospital and Uniontown Hospital. She was an avid baker and loved making pierogi with St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church. Tina's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Whether gathered around the dinner table, celebrating holidays or simply sharing everyday moments, she was most at peace when surrounded by those she loved. Her warmth, laughter and unwavering devotion left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She also treasured her friendships, often seen catching up with dear friends over lunch, sharing stories and laughter. Tina had a special way of making people feel valued and loved.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Martin Libertini Sr., her children, Christina Libertini, Maria (Joe) Franks, Martin (Lisa) Libertini Jr., Carey Lynn Libertini; grandchildren, Santina and Dominic Franks; sister, Jeanine (Fran) Smith, her children Dr. Andria Smith and husband Jay Korpi and Dr. Francis Smith; brother-in-law Jim (Cheryl) Libertini, his children Lindsay (Bill) Stevens and Celeste (Frank) Tempo; great nephews Tyler Stevens and Lincoln Tempo; great nieces Violet Tempo and Ava Korpi. Tina was also the proud godmother of Rachel Petchal and Ava Korpi.
Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Wednesday from 1:00 PM till 8:00 PM and Thursday until 11:30 AM when a prayer service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon in the Historic Church of St. Peter with the Rev. Fr. Rody Mejia as celebrant. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park. wwwskirpanfunealhome.com
