Stephen "Danny" D. Strauch

Stephen "Danny" Strauch, age 71 of Rowes Run, PA passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at his sons home. Danny grew up and lived his entire life in the Patch of Rowes Run. As a boy, he would travel across the United States with his parents who he adored. He loved sharing stories of those days. Danny had a passion for hunting and fishing. He also loved being out on the water in his boat. Danny was a welder for many years until he and his beloved wife, Karen, decide to open up their home and made it into a Domiciliary care home. Where they together, took care of many people for over 20 years. Danny was a kind man and would drop anything he was doing if his friends and family needed him. Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Mary Barrick Strauch; and his beloved wife of 26 years, Karen Joy Strauch. He is survived by his two sons, William (Michelle) Johnson and Lee (Mindi) Johnson; grandchildren, Carly (Brandon) Filitsky, William (Amber) Johnson, Jessica (Cody) Hall and Ava Johnson; great granddaughters, Korra and Scarlett Johnson; sister, Linda Plevel; niece, Jennifer Sumey; great nephews, Tanner, Jayden, Xavier; great niece, Natalia and his two special friends, Delores Brewer and Alexa Horvath. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St. Brownsville, PA on Wednesday from 1 - 3 and 5 - 7 PM and Thursday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon the hour of service with the Rev.
