Stephan Wozniak

Stephan Wozniak age 86 years of West Brownsville, PA passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 in Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was the son on the late Nicholas and Catherine Diak Wozniak. He was born on August 21, 1927 in Johnstown, PA. He graduated from Johnstown High School in 1945. He was a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Stephan was General Foreman and retired from General Motors Chevrolet Plant, Muncie, IN, after working for General Motors in Cleveland and Toledo, OH, Massena, NY, St. Louis MO. Stephan was predeceased by brothers: James, Walter, Nicholas and John Sisters: Irene Sroka and Helen Levchik He is survived by his wife: Rose Kruty Wozniak Sister: Eleanor Simsic and husband Carl - Ft. Mills, SC Sister-in-law: Jean Wozniak - Johnston, PA Trudy Wozniak - Holliston, MA Brother-in-law: Edward Soroka, Cincinnati, OH Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park St. Brownsville, PA on Sunday from 4:00PM till 7:00PM. Where a panachida service will be held on Monday at 12:00 noon with the Rev. Fr. Jerome Botsko pastor of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church officiating. Interment at Lafayette Memorial Park with full military rites accorded by American Legion Post 295, 940 and 838. Memorial donations can be made to Fayette Friends of Animals P.O. Box 1282 Uniontown, PA 15401.
