Stacey L. Stokes

Stacey L. Stokes, age 30, of Grindstone, PA passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 after a long courageous battle with cancer at Magee Womens Hospital with her parents at her side. She was born on February 23rd, 1983 in Uniontown, PA Daughter of Timothy Stokes of Brownsville, PA and Bobbi Jo Marinelli Higman - Grindstone,PA Stacey was a member of The Tower Hill Christian Church She was a member of the Brownsville Area High School Class of 2001 Stacey was a graduate of The Community Training Institute where she received her degree and certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother - Wanda (Gram) Malinky Stacey is survived by her mother: Bobbi Jo Marinelli Higman and fiancée James Spike - Grindstone, PA Her Father: Timothy Stokes and his wife Angela - Brownsville, PA Maternal Grandparents: Beverly and Walter Marinelli - Grindstone, PA Paternal Grandfather: Jerry (Pap) Malinky Step-sisters and step-brothers: Nikki, David, Paula, Marissa, Justin Step-Father: Mark Higman Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Monday, June 17th from 11:00AM until 1:00PM when a funeral service will be held with Rev. Nicholas Beatty officiating. Entombment in LaFayette Memorial Park.
