Sherry Lynn (Popiesh) Bloom

Sherry Lynn Bloom, 47, of LaBelle, PA passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in UPMC - Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on January 21, 1965 in Brownsville, PA Daughter of Ida Mae Mattie Popiesh and the late Andrew Popiesh Sr. Sherry was a former member of St. James R.C. Church - Labelle, PA Sherry is survived by her mother - Ida Mae Mattie Popiesh - West Brownsville, PA Her husband: Kenneth Bloom 3 children: Christy Eutsey & husband Richard - Connellsville, PA Jennifer Bloom - at home Kenneth Bloom Jr. - at home 2 grandchildren: Payten Eutsey and Noah Bloom 8 brothers and sisters: Andrew Popiesh Jr.; Ida Guerra; Bernard Popiesh; Cindy Walters; Linda Mersky; Anthony Popiesh; Kenneth Popiesh; and Makayla Popiesh Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in The SKIRPAN Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Friday from 2-9PM and on Saturday until 9:30 AM when a prayer service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at The Historic Church of St. Peter - Brownsville, PA with The Rev. Fr. James F. Petrovsky as celebrant. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
