Rose Marie Veatch

Rose Marie Veatch, age 79, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She was born on February 19, 1947 to the late Veronica Vaji and raised by her late aunt Sue Latta. She loved to garden, crochet, take care of her puppy “ Daisy”, and cook. She was predeceased by her husband, John C. Veatch III, grandson, Sean Clinton Veatch and several siblings. Rose is survived by her partner and best friend, Kenneth Perkins of 37 years, Children, Tami Hunyady and husband James of Millsboro, PA, John C. Veatch and wife Stephanie of Albuquerque, NM, Mark A. Veatch of Brownsville, PA ; Six grandchildren, James, Madison, John Patrick, Abigail, Brandon and Travis; a brother Robert and a sister Donna. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Wednesday from 2 -4 and 6 – 8 PM and Thursday until 11:00 AM when a funeral service will be held with the Rev. Michael Peton officiating. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park.
