Paula Jane (Funk) Drake

Paula Jane (Funk) Drake, age 83 of Newell, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at her home with her husband by her side. She was born on May 8, 1940 in Newell, PA to the late John and Clara Belle Means Funk. She graduated from Brownsville High School Class of 1958 and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 6664, Library, PA. Paula is survived by her husband of 27 years, John D. Drake, daughter, Laura and husband Chris, son, Charles E. Lee, 11 grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren and 4 great great great grandchildren. Paula was the best thing that happened to John, by taking care of everything. She was always there if anybody needed anything. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 12:00PM and from 2:00PM until 6:00PM the hour of service with Rev. Jack Washabaugh officiating. Private interment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
