Norma Rae (Paschke) Yeardie, age 95, of Brownsville, PA (formerly of Uniontown, PA) passed away under hospice care on Friday, March 27, 2026 surrounded by her loving family and church pastor. She was born on October 14, 1930 in Connellsville, PA., daughter of the late Ewing and Lucinda Yauger Nicholson.
Predeceased by her husbands, Albert G Paschke and Ross Yeardie Sr., and step-daughter Debra Gottfried. She outlived her siblings: Wilbur Nicholson, Lois Goe, Gerald Nicholson, and Audrey Kozub.
Survived by her daughter Deborah Paschke Marmol and her husband, John Robert Marmol, of Pittsburgh, PA and her stepson Ross Jr. (Butch) and his wife, Michele Yeardie of Hiller, PA. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Megan Marmol, Scott Yeardie, Jeanine Hudock, and Branden Gottfried; 2 great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Domenic, and her loving nephew, Jim Kozub.
Norma was a travel agent for Greyhound Bus Lines for many years. Activities included board membership in Open Doors for the Handicapped and participation in the Brownsville and Republic Senior Centers. She cherished her membership with the loving congregation of the Allison Christian Church. To know her was to love her.
Family and friends will be received at The Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, PA 15417 on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday at The Allison Christian Church, 452 East Avenue, Allison, PA 15413 from 10 AM until the Funeral Service at 11 AM officiated by Pastor Michael Peton.
