Michael Snock

Michael Snock, 97, of California, PA passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Adams Personal Care Home. He was born on December 21, 1914 in Crucible, PA Son of the late Joseph and Mary Copcha Snock He was preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters and Michael was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Michael was a veteran of WWII where he received The Bronze Star and The Purple Heart. Michael is survived by his niece - Susan Snock of Uniontown, PA Also survived by several other nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff and caregivers at Adams Personal Care Home and Amedysis Hospice. A private burial and committal service was held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at LaFayette Memorial Park for the immediate family with Rev. Fr. Ronald L. Simboli officiating and full military rites accorded by American Legion Post 295, 940 and 838. Funeral arrangements were handled by The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA.
