Mary Losko Rizak, 95, passed away peacefully with her family on Sunday August 4th 2024. Mary was born in Brownsville Pa to Charles Losko and Pauline Pollock Losko on September 5th 1928. She was one of six children born to Mr. and Mrs. Losko. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George Rizak, her son, George Rizak II, her granddaughter, Lyndsey Rae Rizak, and great grandson Finn Galway. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, James, Michael and George Losko, her sister Pauline Losko Shashura and her dear friend Michael Costa. She is survived by her brother Charles Losko and several beloved nieces and nephews. In to Mary's adulthood, she worked at Krogers in Washington PA and later volunteered at Brownsville General Hospital in the gift shop for several years. She was also a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church of Brownville. She enjoyed traveling and loved polka dancing and spending time with her family. Mary always took great pride in her life and accomplishments. Mary will be dearly missed by her family whom she is survived by, her daughter in law Roxane Rizak and significant other Gregory Petrosky, her granddaughter Kristina Rizak Galway and husband Joshua Galway, and her three beloved great grandchildren, Mason, Junoper and Topper Galway. Services for Mary will be private per her request and in the care of Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville PA 15417, followed by a burial service in Lafayette Memorial Park. www.skirpanfuneralhome.com
