Mary Elizabeth DeBord, 88, of Penn Craft, PA died Saturday, March 9, 2013. She was born on June 5, 1924 in Isabella, PA Daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Wanto Skakandy Mary was a life member of the former St. Julian R.C. Church of Isabella, PA where she also served the church as a Eucharistic Minister. Mary was a current member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church of Republic, PA Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Estel L. DeBord Brothers: John, Alex, and Joseph Skakandy She is survived by her 4 children: Barry DeBord & wife Linda - Lyndhurst, OH Denise McMillen & husband Terry - Uniontown, PA Candace Harvey & husband James - Brownsville, PA Cris DeBord & wife Ralene - Wexford, PA 10 Grandchildren: Barry DeBord & wife Tracy; Nikole Godenswager & husband Matt; Adam DeBord & wife Sara; Carol Punday & husband Dan; Terry McMillen, Jr. & wife Leeza; Larry Ulery Jr. & wife Maria; Jeremy Ulery & wife Katie; Jodi Lynn McDonald; Daniel James Harvey; Wyatt Debord 3 step-grandchildren: James Harvey; Elena Boger; & John Harvey & wife Becky 15 great-grandchildren: Jessica Hassan; Joshua, Andrew, & Matthew Godenswager; Alexandria, Zachary. & Gavin DeBord; Grace Jennifer DeBord; Naithen McMillen; Samuel Punday; Raya Jean McDonald; Antonio Ulery; Bekah Rose & Michael Dean Ulery; Patrick James Harvey; 7 step great-grandchildren: Sarah, Daniel, Megan, & Maura Boger; Jaden, Delaney, & Camden Harvey. 3 Dearly loved sisters: Irene Skakandy; Loretta Bozek; Roberta Smearmen & husband Ralph Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park St. Brownsville, PA on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8PM. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in Holy Rosary R.C. Church - Republic, PA with the Rev. Fr. William C. McGuirk as celebrant. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
