Linda M. Rohland

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Marie Rohland, age 76, on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025. Linda now resides in Uniontown, PA, but spent most of her life in Brownsville, PA. She was heavily involved in her community, serving as an EMT with both Brownsville and Hiller Volunteer Fire Departments, the latter for which she was an ambulance vice commander, and taught both CPR and first aid there. She was the first female firefighter at Hiller VFC. Linda also served as the Past President of the Rosa Garibaldi Lodge. Linda retired after working for 40 years as a case worker for the state. She traveled extensively in her lifetime, visiting Spain, the tropics and Alaska, where she rode in both a helicopter and a dog sled. Linda is currently a member of the Third Presbyterian Church of Uniontown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Willis ( "Jugs" ) Rohland. Linda will be sadly missed by cousins Sandy Kovacs, Ken Adams, Billie Jo Najimian, Lee Ann King, their wives and husbands, and numerous other cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St., Brownsville from 4 – 8 PM, and Saturday, April 19th until 11:00 Am the hour of service with the Rev.
