Linda L. (Thomas) Brady Surrett Johnson

Linda L. (Thomas)  Brady Surrett Johnson, age 72, of Brownsville, PA passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 28th, 2024 with her loving family at her side.

She was born on January 16th, 1952 in Brownsville, PA

Daughter of the late Kenneth R. and Iris (Reggianninni) Thomas

Linda founded The Willie M. Program which is a system of care developed to provide education and mental health treatment to youths in North Carolina who were both assaultive and emotionally and behaviorally disturbed.  She also ran a battered woman's shelter in Uniontown, Pennsylvania from 1986 to 1987.  She then became a life underwriter for The Baltimore Life Insurance Company.  Later, she became a huge animal advocate for abused, negelected, and abandoned animals.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, William R. Brady, Sr.

grandson:  Dustin Ray Guthrie

Linda is survived by her three children:

Michelle Soroka and husband Paul

Marc Brady

Ashley Surrett and fiance Adam Elliott

Her Grandchildren:  James Guthrie, Aarron Guthrie, Samantha Soroka, and Dakota Brady

Her great-grandchildren:  James Guthrie, Faith Guthrie, Jeremiah Brady, Isabella Brady, Brooklyn Bernheisel, Grimsly Bernheisel, and Remi Bernheisel

her three sisters:  Joyce Thomas, Kathleen Weiss and husband Chuck, and Darla Oziemblowski

Also survived by nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly
