Josephine Veronica (Kruper) Pierce

Josephine Veronica Kruper Pierce age 92 of Hiller, PA and formerly of Brownsville, PA passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at her daughters Sandy house where she made her home for the past two years. She was the last of the late John and Veronica Kruper twelve children. A 1940 graduate of Brownsville High School. She worked for the company store in Brownsville and later for Park and Tilford distillery in Brownsville. She was married to Willard Pierce who preceded her in death in 1974. Survivors are three daughters: Sandra Hager of Hiller, PA JoAnn Mazurek and husband Frank of Belle Vernon, PA Kathleen Monroe and husband Bob of Hudson, WI Five Grandchildren: Keith Hager of Hiller Jason Hager of Brownsville Sean Mazurek of West Newton Daniel Brown of McKinney, TX David Brown and wife Jennifer of Fredericksburg, VA Two Great Grandsons: Bob and Adam Brown And will be missed by her grand dog, Snickers She was also preceded in death by her only granddaughter Ann Mazurek of Lakewood, OH in 2004. Private arrangements are under the direction of the Skirpan Funeral Home, Brownsville, PA. The family would like to especially thank Lorrie Robaugh and Becky with Asera Care Hospice.
