Joseph John Heiser

Joseph John Heiser, age 79 of Pittsburgh, PA and formerly of Brownsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at his home. He was born on January 1, 1945 in Brownsville, PA to the late Stanley and Mary Salvaggio, Heiser, Sr. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War receiving a Purple Heart for his service. Life-long member of the Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, PA. He is survived by his son, Charles Heiser and wife Felisa, grandsons, Charles Heiser, Jr. and wife Tara, Frederick Heiser and wife Summer, great granddaughter, Isabella Heiser, nieces, Mikie Ann Heiser and Ronnie, Anita Kuznar and husband Michael, Gina Kuznar and Justin, numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by brothers, Ronald and Stanley Heiser. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park St. Brownsville, PA on Tuesday September 3, 2024 from 4 till 8 PM and Wednesday until 9:30 AM when a prayer service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in the Historic Church of St. Peter with the Rev. Fr. Efren Ambre as celebrant. Interment in St. Peter Cemetery with full military rites accorded by American Legion Post 940, 275 and 838.
