Joseph Crilly Obituary

Joseph P. Crilly, 83, passed away on July 8, 2013 and will be missed by many. He was born on February 9, 1930 to Stanley S. and Lillian (Fickes) Crilly of Osterburg, PA. He graduated from Bedford High School in 1947 and married Louise Eicher of Queen, PA in 1950. Joe worked in the construction industry for most of his career. Before retiring, he had worked for Iron City Sash and Door in Windber, PA as a salesman for over 30 years. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and traveling, especially to the western U. S. Joe was a past president of the Uniontown Lions Club and the Local Chapter #1 of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He was also a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Alfred. He is survived by six children and spouses: Deborah Miller (and Robert) of Reedsville, WV; Cynthia Borsch (and Andrew) of Munhall, PA; Douglas Crilly of Nemacolin, PA; Rosalie King (and Hobart) of Uniontown; Kim Veno (and Frances) of Uniontown; and Stephen Crilly (and Paula) of Uniontown. He had nine grandchildren: Stanley and Stephen Borsch; James and Jennifer Crilly; Angela and Patrick King; Daniel Stolz; Tia McClelland; and Andrea Crilly; as well as three great-granddaughters: Isabella and Alina McClelland, and Aija Thomas. One sister, Norma Diehl of Dover, PA, also survives, along with 11 nieces and nephews. At his request, he will be cremated. A memorial reception will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 71 North Gallatin Avenue, on Saturday, July 13 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Uniontown Lions Club, P.
