John M. Macala

John M. Macala, age 72, of Sarasota, Florida and formerly of East Millsboro, PA., passed away on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2013. He was born on August 10, 1941 in East Millsboro, PA. He was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Simon Macala. John retired from Maple Creek Mine and before that he worked for Arnold Appliances. He was preceded in death by four sisters: Sister Theresa Ann VSC (Margaret), Agnes Macala, Catherine Lenkey, and Mary Ann King Two brothers: Thomas Macala and Joseph Macala. John is survived by his two sisters: Julia Malcolm of Sarasota, FLA Dorothy Macala of East Millsboro, PA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at The Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at LaFayette Memorial Park at 2:00PM where services will be Conducted by Rev.
