Janiffer “Jan” (Prescenzi) Coppolino, age 89, of Herbert, PA passed away on June 24, 2026. She was born on April 16, 1937, daughter of the late Valentino and Filomena Prescenzi.
She was a cheerleader and graduate of Redstone High School, Class of 1955. She was a retired Insurance Secretary. Jan is a current member of St. Francis of Assisi Church – Footedale, and a former member of St. Procopius Church in which she was very active. She was an accomplished seamstress and a life-long crafter. She will be greatly missed for all her culinary delights.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Duny Kelly, Helen Mesko, Jean Christon, Margaret Rundelli, Stella Slusarick, and Betty Glavic; brothers: Domineck Prescenzi, James Prescenzi, and Mario Prescenzi.
She is survived by her loving husband Anthony E. Coppolino. Jan and Anthony were married on June 7, 1958 and just celebrated 68 years of marriage. She is also survived by her daughter, Michele and husband Raymond Marks; grandchildren: Anthony and wife Ansley Marks and their children, Aubree, Aiden, Ava, and Alex; Christopher Marks; and Daniel Marks; nieces, Lisa (and the late Timothy) Chiplaskey, Carol (Joe) Myers, Brenda (Mike) Swain, Belinda (Morris) Grassi, Bonita (Rob) Galosi, Maria (Eddie) Lovat, Melissa (Brian) Reese and their families; cousin, JoAnn Coppolino.
Family and friends will be received at The Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, PA 15417 on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 5-8 PM and on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 11 AM until the Blessing Service at 1:30PM.
