James Arthur Brooks Sr. (Brooksy), 64, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 in The Uniontown Hospital. He was born on August 14, 1947 in Brownsville, PA Jim was a member of The Brownsville Eagles and an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan He could always be found in or around The Antique Bar & Grill in Brownsville Jim was preceded in death by his mother: Hazel Brooks Brother: Henry Brooks Jim is survived by his son: James Arthur Brooks Jr. and wife Brittney 2 grandchildren: Timothy James and Nevaeh Lynn 3 sisters: Virginia Barrett Louise (Sis) Showman Linda Hugney Brother: John Brooks Aunt: Ruth Rizer Sister-in-law: Brenda Gavala & husband Paul Brother-in-law: Paul Mickey & wife Sherry Special Caring Friends: Yvonne Gmutza and Jerry Abbey (Mom & Pops) Numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends from The Antique Bar & Grill Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA today, Friday from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at which time a service will be held. Burial will follow in Acklin Cemetery.
