Irma Miller Davis, 95, of Brownsville, PA, passed peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the home of her daughter, Joyce in Virginia Beach, Virginia, surrounded by the love of her family.
Irma was a 1948 graduate of Redstone High School. She was a faithful and devoted member of the United Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Coal Center, Pennsylvania, where her strong faith was an important part of her life.
She was the daughter of the late William S. and Hilda M. Freeman of Grindstone, Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet E. Price and Phyllis Bowser; her grandson-in-law, Steven F. Ryan; and her parents-in-law, Samuel Earl and Ruth Springer Davis.
Irma was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Wilbur Earl Davis. Wilbur proudly built their family home, and together they created a beautiful life centered on faith, family, laughter, and love.
She is survived by her loving children, Joyce Kielbasa and her husband Edward of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Gene Davis and his wife Carol of Mansfield, Ohio. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who brought her great joy and will forever cherish her memory: Karen Kielbasa Patterson and her husband Michael of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and their children Kaley and Logan; Kevin Kielbasa and his wife Billie of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and their son Kade; Scott Davis and his wife Holly of Plainfield, Indiana, and their children Kasey and Joslyn; and Mallory Matie and her husband Chris of Massillon Ohio, and their son Austin; Donnie Larck Jr. of Mansfield, OH.
Irma truly enjoyed life. She and Wilbur shared many adventures together, earning numerous trophies in sports car rallies, with Irma navigating while Wilbur drove. They also enjoyed boating and attending gospel concerts.
