Helen (Rakushin) Dolobach

Helen (Rakushin) Dolobach, age 93, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Thursday, November 07, 2013 in Mount Macrina Manor with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 10, 1919 in Waltersburg, PA Daughter of the late George and Anna Uflussy Rakushin Helen was a former member of the former St. Mary's R.C. Church of Brownsville where she also served as president of the Christian Mothers. She was a current member of The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville. Member of Democratic Women's Club Helen was employed at several local retail stores and restaurants in Brownsville She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was very devoted to her family. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Steve A. Dolobach Infant son: Donald Great-granddaughters: Christina Bailey and Sienna Grace Roggenkamp 9 brothers and sisters: Ann, George, Michael, Julia, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Joseph, and Steve Helen is survived by her 4 children: Judith Dumay; Ronald Dolobach and his wife Rosalie; Dr. Bernard Dolobach and his wife Heidi; Stephanie Sesek and husband Paul; 8 grandchildren: Denise Bailey and husband Rance; John Berggren & Tara; Robin Roggenkamp & husband Quintin; Nicole Dumay; Brooke Jenko and husband Jerry; Christian Sesek; Joseph Dolobach and Alex Dolobach 5 great-grandchildren: Draven, Nicole, Mikayla, Madison, Avery Rose Sister: Erma Voytek Special niece who helped greatly in her caregiving: Annette Powelko Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to all of Helen's caregivers at Mount Macrina Manor and Amedisys Hospice Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9PM and on Monday until 9:30AM where a prayer service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at the Historic Church of St. Peter - Brownsville, PA with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Armamento as celebrant. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. A wake service will be held on Sunday evening at 6:00PM.
