Helen D. Diamond, age 90 of Fayette City, PA, died Saturday, January 7, 2012. She was born on September 30, 1921 in Alicia, PA. Daughter of the late Stefan and Sophia Vlcak Simyak. Former Charter member of the Historic Church of St. Peter Christian Mother She was predeceased by her husband: Virgil D. Diamond Infant Son: Daniel Grandson: Jeremy Soroka She is survived by 7 Children: David Diamond and wife Josephine - Monroe, MI Virgil Diamond and wife Patti - Grindstone, PA Caroline Fecek and husband Ron - Brownsville, PA Eugene Diamond and wife Patty - Waltersburg, PA Andrew Diamond - Fayette City, PA Roger Diamond - Amherst, OH Helen Buchko and husband John - Sutersville, PA 10 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren Brother: David Simyak - Rootstown, OH Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park St. Brownville, PA on Monday from 6 - 8 and Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9PM. Where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30AM followed by a funeral mass at 10:00AM in the Historic Church of St. Peter - Brownsville, PA with the Rev. Fr. James Clark as celebrant. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
