Geraldine Elizabeth Sunny

Geraldine Elizabeth Sunny, age 89, formerly of Brownsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Woodside Place of Washington. She was born on April 6, 1937 in Brownsville, PA to the late John P. and Juliana Beres Sunny. She taught as a Reading Specialist for 45 years. She is survived by her brother James Sunny and wife Mary Jane and sister, Sylvia Lester. She was predeceased by siblings, Rose, John, Aulga, Irene, Eleanor, Maryann, Regis, Robert, Ronald and Caroline. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM when a prayer service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in the Historic Church of St. Peter with the Rev.
