Francis "Frank" James Simyak

Frank J. Simyak, 79, of Brownsville, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 25, 2024, surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 25, 1945 in Brownsville, son of the late Frank and June Franks Simyak.

Frank was the owner of Simyak's Scrap Iron & Metal for over 50 years. He loved his business and enjoyed talking to all his customers. The family would like to thank all the customers that supported him and his business..  

Frank was married to Phyllis A. Muchisko Simyak for 59 loving years. In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his two daughters,  Joyce Simyak and Jayme Simyak and husband Richard Walters; two grandchildren, Adam Walters and wife Amanda and Abigail Walters and fiancé, Brody Bagwell; one great grandchild, Cohen James Bagwell;

four siblings, Darcy Simyak and wife Debbie, Sally Simyak Vadella and husband Tony, Lori Cusick Finney and husband Kevin and Bill Cusick and wife Trish.

Friends will be received at The Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, PA on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Services will be private. www.skirpanfuneralhome.com.
