Juanita Chamberlain, age 95, of Brownsville, PA passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, November 24, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 24, 1929 in Brownsville, PA to the late Charles and Mildred Yarnevich Stuart. She loved to read books, cook and bake. She also loved football especially the Steelers. She lead a strong Catholic faith life. Juanita loved her family and is survived by three children; Raymond Chamberlain and wife Mary, Shelley Zalek and husband Jerry, Randie Mullen and husband Daniel; She enjoyed spending time with her five grandchildren, Rachael, Jessica, Helene, Danny and Dalton; and her five great grandchildren Cameron, Riley, Brynleigh, Jerry and Michael. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Stuart. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM when a prayer service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM in the Historic Church of St. Peter's, Brownsville, PA with the Rev. Fr. Efren Ambre as celebrant. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park. A special Thank-you to everyone for the wonderful care you provided for our mother. Words cannot express how appreciative we are for such comfort, dignity and compassion in her final days.
