Evelyn was born on December 8, 1928 in Brownsville, PA, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria D'Onofrio Cimaglia. She was one of nine children. She was also a proud member of the Rosa Garabaldi Lodge and was recently awarded a plaque signifying 50 years of membership. Evelyn was a 1946 graduate of Brownsville High School. For many years, with her second husband - Frank, she worked at Gudac's Bowling Alley in Brownsville. Evelyn was a strong, kind, independent woman full of life and energy. "Spirited" was a word used by many to describe her. She made the most of every situation and taught her family to do the same. She cherished her time with her family and friends and always put everyone else first. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, cooking and baking for her family, bowling, shopping in Belle Vernon, and working puzzles. She loved all animals and birds, providing care to several animals without a home. Evelyn was a remarkable person and made a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
