Eleanor (Karas) Brand

Eleanor Brand, age 92, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023with her loving family by her side. She was born May 27, 1931 to the late George and Anna Timms Karas. Eleanor was an avid Bingo player for 40 plus years at the South Brownsville Fire Co. Bingo. She enjoyed going to the Casinos and going to Cash Bashes. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Edwin D. Brand; daughter, Cynthia Ross grandchildren, Jodee Ross, Kerri Long and husband Wayne, Laura Garee and Ryan Brand; great grandchildren, Michael Blackstone and wife Christina, Cristian Blackstone, Cody Long and Gage Garee; great great grandchildren, Caidan and Chanson Blackstone; her extended family who adored her, Wayne and Betty Long She was predeceased by her son, Gary Brand and his wife Linda, son-in-law, Joseph Ross; her siblings, Robert Law, Rosalie Donnelly and George Karas; Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Friday from 3 - 8 PM.
