Edward George Jackson

Edward (Ed) George Jackson, Jr., age 74, of Clarksville, PA died on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Presbyterian Hospital with family by his side. He was born on April 4, 1950 in Uniontown Hospital to the late Edward George Jackson, Sr. and Verda Rose Jackson. Ed loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons Parker and Jaxon. He loved boating, grilling, porch sitting while listening to music, and his hot rod cars. Ed attended Laurel Highlands High School and upon graduation he joined the US Air Force. After serving his country, Ed became a welder and worked for many years at Hillman Barge and US Iron Works. He is survived by two sons, his oldest son, William (Julie) Myers, and youngest son, Edward (Eddie), Jackson, III and his girlfriend Jonna, two step daughters, Kelly and Alexis, also, brother, Donald Jackson, and sisters, Jeanette Silbaugh, Alana (Larry) Jackson-Tunforss, brother-in-law, William Hill, Sr., grandkids, Amber (Robert) Myers, Taylor (Alan) Hurley, Brittany Morgan, Ruby Myers, Parker McGaughey and Jaxon Myers; great grandkids, Christian, Jr., Emmy Jane, Chance, Liam, Lainey, Calionna and Jesse; also several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brothers, William Jackson and Robert (Stonewall) Jackson , sister, Lucille (Snookie) Hill and nephew, William (Pumpkin) Hill.
