Dorothy Blazovich

Dorothy Blazovich passed away on January 4, 2024 at Harlem Hospital in NYC. Dorothy was
born on February 2, 1929 to Stella (Gotch) Blazovich and Peter Blazovich. She was one of
twelve children. Dorothy attended Redstone High School in Republic Pennsylvania and then
headed to New York City where she lived until her passing. Dorothy worked for Eastman Radio.
Dorothy was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Carmichaels, PA. Dorothy
was an avid football fan, with the Pittsburgh Steelers being her favorite. She and her sister
Rose loved to travel. Dorothy had a love of penguins. Dorothy is survived by her sister,
Josephine Thomsen and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy will be laid to rest at St. George Serbian Orthodox Cemetery after a private service.
