Deborah “Debbie” (Davis) Gallagher, age 70, of Fort Mill, SC, formerly of California, PA passed away on Friday, November 15th, 2024 in Charlotte, NC.
She was born on August 31, 1954 to the late Thomas and Anne (Lokatos) Davis. Debbie graduated from California Area High School, class of 1972, and fondly remembered her days as a majorette. She graduated as a registered nurse from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing, Pittsburgh, class of 1974. She was employed for many years as a registered nurse in PA, NC, OH, GA and later in her career, she served as a case manager in SC. In 1979, she married the love her life, Bert Gallagher, they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on September 1st. Debbie was a devoted mother to her daughter Heather Gallagher Aiazzi and a caring mother-in-law to David Aiazzi, of Fort Mill, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her beloved husband, Bert, and daughter Heather (David), and many cousins.
Debbie cherished her family dearly and she gave them a life time of unconditional love and support. Debbie enjoyed yoga, was an avid reader, and lover of animals, especially her dogs. Summer was her favorite season as she loved the ocean. She also enjoyed decorating for Christmas and her family will always remember how she made the holidays a special time for them. Debbie was an amazing woman that lived her life with grace, generosity, and kindness. The world has lost a beautiful person.
Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA 15417 on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, and on Saturday from 10:00AM until 11:00AM where a Funeral Service will be held with Rev. Fr. James Ragan officiating. Interment to follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
