David L. Samol

David J. Samol, age 69, of Hiller, PA passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026. He was born on July 29, 1956 in Uniontown, Pa to the late Joseph and Lois Bower Samol. David was predeceased by his most beautiful wife Jeanie Savona Samol and son Joseph Samol. He is survived by his son, Justin Samol and his beloved cats, Lucy, Squirrel, Petey. David worked at US Steel for over 40 years. He cared and provided for his family every step of the way. Dave wasn’t just a hard worker, he was a lending hand, and a kind soul that will truly be missed in today’s world. One of Dave’s best traits was the man that never gave up on you. He believed in others even when they did not believe in their self. He was a gentle man with a heart just as big . Family was everything to him, and the love that he showed on this earth will continue in his memory. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM and Friday until 10:00 AM when a Blessing Service will be held with the Rev. Fr. Efren Ambre officiating. Interment in St. Peter Cemetery.
