Bernice A. (Rohrer) Columbia

Bernice A. Columbia, Age 86, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 14, 1938 in Brownsville, PA to the late Wallace and Helen Beasley Rohrer. She was a Brownsville Democratic Committee Woman and she also worked for the Intermediate Unit as a Special Needs Aide. Bernice is survived by her husband, David E. Columbia, three daughters, Mary Ann Columbia and Barbara, Patty Columbia, Beth Lawson, five grandchildren, Darin Dewey, Anna Compton, Helen Compton, Julie Lawson and Christian Lawson, great granddaughter, Amelia Dewey She was predeceased by her daughter, Judith Compton, siblings, Wallace D Rohrer, Margaret J. Crampe, Edward T. Rohrer , Howard L. Rohrer and Ardene A. Rohrer Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St. Brownsville, PA on Sunday from 2 - 8 PM and Monday until 9:00 AM when a prayer service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30AM in the Historic Church of St. Peter with the Rev.
