Bernadette "Bernie" Marie (Mikeo) Adams

Bernadette Marie "Bernie" Adams, age 77, of Grindstone, PA passed peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.  She was born in Grindstone, PA on October 18, 1946, daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Duke) Mikeo.

Bernie was well known for her domestic abilities, decorating the home, gardening were two of her favorites.  She adored caring for all cats, Pookey, her Angel cat Minne,  along with any cat that came to her home. Bernie and Butch enjoyed Sunday breakfast at Eat N Park after Mass.

Besides her parents, Bernie was preceded in death by her brother, Jerome Mikeo and her sister, Theresa Wilk.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 56 years, Anthony "Butch" Adams;  son, Anthony M. Adams, Mark L. and wife Jessica Adams; granddaughter, Amber and fiancé Robert Gibson; brother, Gregory  and wife Joan Mikeo; brother-in-law, Robert Wilk, Sr.; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 10 :00 AM in St. Mary's Nativity Church a member of The Roman Catholic Churches of South Fayette, 61 North Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, PA 15401. Interment to follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Hillman Cancer Center, Uniontown, WVU Mary Babb Cancer Center, the staff at WVU Uniontown Hospital Annex Infusion Center,  Mt.
