Anthony Andrew "Butch" Adams, age 78, of Grindstone, PA passed away on Monday, August 19th, 2024 in Ruby Memorial Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was born on May 24th, 1946 in Grindstone, PA. Son of the late Louis and Agnes (Jurko) Adams. Butch was a member of the former St. Hedwig's R.C. Church in Smock, PA and currently a member of St. Mary's Nativity R.C. Church of Uniontown, PA. He was a retired truck driver. Butch was a Veteran of The United States Army serving a one year tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of The Vietnam Veterans INC. of Fayette County. Butch was a kind and generous man to his family and friends. He enjoyed classic cars and trucks, owning a few of his own in his lifetime. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Bernadette Marie (Mikeo) Adams on March 27, 2024. brother: Richard S. Adams sister: Rosemary "Sis" Lukasik He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Butch is survived by his two sons: Anthony M. "Butchie" Adams - New Salem, PA Mark L. Adams and his wife Jessica - New Salem, PA his precious granddaughter: Amber Marie and fiancé Robert Gibson his best friend and cat: Pookey Also survived by nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to Dr. S. Safi, John Rizzo, and nurse Angie, and all of the staff from The Infusion Center at Mary Babb Cancer Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. Friend will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Thursday, from 2-8PM and on Friday until 9:15AM where a Prayer Service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Mary Nativity R.C. Church 61 North Mount Vernon Avenue Uniontown, PA 15401.
