Anna Marie Lunden

Marie Lunden, 92, of Brownsville, PA passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 In Forbes Regional Hospital. She was born on September 23, 1920 in Brownsville, PA Daughter of the late Pehr Richard and Anne Evelyn Teasdale Lunden Marie started working for her father's floral shop business - Lunden's Flower Shop, which started in business in Brownsville in 1927 and eventually became the owner and operator of Lunden's Flower Shop (which is still in business today) until her retirement. Marie was the Past Worthy Matron of The Order of Eastern Star - Iron Bridge Chapter. Former Member of the Brownsville Area Chamber of Commerce for many years. Besides her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her sister: Ruth Ann Giannetti She is survived by her brother: William R. Lunden and wife Lorraine - Pittsburgh, PA 4 Sisters: Alleda Seders - Cuyahoga Falls, OH Janet Lee Haver & husband Joseph - Ellijay, GA Gay Haver & husband Samuel - Moon Twp., PA Mary Lou Shoemaker - Cardington, OH Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Thursday from 5PM until 8PM and on Friday until 11:00AM the hour of funeral service with Rev. Roland O'Brien officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
