Ann (Matty) Pore

Ann Matty Lane Pore age 86, a lifelong resident of Brownsville, PA and a recent resident of Consulate Retirement Village passed away on Wednesday, October 03, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Matty. She was a devoted member of Christ Anglican Church of Brownsville, PA. She was married to the late Kenneth Pore who passed away on September 15, 1987. She had been a telephone operator and worked for years as a cashier in several area grocery stores. She leaves her Daughter: Janet E. Lane of Washington, PA Son: Jack David Lane of Gold River, CA Grandchildren: Colleen Lane of Sacramento, CA Bryan Lane of Tokyo, Japan Sister: Irene (Paul) Durda, Helen (Ken) Vickers and Betty (Ed) Labin Several Nieces and Nephews She was predeceased by a Brother: Richard Matty Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St. Brownsville, PA, on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 9:00AM till 10:00AM when a prayer service will be held followed by a Commendation Service at 10:30AM in the Christ Anglican Church, 305 Church St., Brownsville, PA with Rev. Donald Bowers officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.
