Ambrose Vincent Dedola

Ambrose Vincent Dedola, 86, passed away Thursday April 4, 2013, at Westchester Gardens in Florida. He was born August 2, 1926 in Brownsville, PA. As a lifelong resident of Brownsville, Ambrose owned and operated Naples Bar and Restaurant before working at Penndot. He was a member of St Peter's Roman Catholic Church, The Sons of Italy and The American Legion. Ambrose was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Vincenza " PJ" (Loverdi) Dedola; His wife Theresa Marie Cernelli Dedola, sister Nellie Ballon and nephews Ben Dedola and Angelo Vinch. He is survived by his two daughters: Patricia Torrey (Thomas) of Merrittstown, PA and Debra Crossland (Frank) of Palm Harbor, FL; grandchildren Tricia, Thomas and Todd Torrey of PA and Cari Crossland (Douglas) of FL; great granddaughters Abigail and Emily of FL; brother Tony Dedola of Brownsville, PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Tuesday from 2 - 9PM. Where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30AM followed by a funeral mass at 11:00AM in the Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, PA with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Armamento as celebrant. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park. A wake service will be held on Tuesday at 6:00PM in the funeral home.
