Albert (Abe) Petrosky, age 91 of Brier Hill, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. He was born on August 13, 1934 in Vesta #7 to the late Charles and Anna Sewa Petrosky.
Abe was a Veteran with the US Army as a Helicopter Mechanic; he was a member of St. Nicholas Church, Brownsville, a member of South Brownsville Fire Co., Nixon Gun Club, Issac Walton League, Railroad Museum and a member of American Legion Post 940. He was retired from Hillman Barge Co. with 43 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fishermen.
Abe is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Alice Bennett Petrosky; four children, Larry Petrosky and wife Cathy, Russell Petrosky and wife Debbie, Robert Petrosky and wife Andrea, Wendy Shepley and husband Brian; Seven grandchildren, Aaron Petrosky, Chelsea Smith and husband Carl, Russell (Rusty) Petrosky , Albert Petrosky, Ian Petrosky and wife Jessica, Deanna Lenk and husband Rich, Leslie Wooten and husband Chris; Six Great grandchildren, Avery, Aayla, Adria, Madelyn, Kaiden and Braelyn; Brothers, Joe and Andy Petrosky Numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Chaz, George, John and Mike; sisters; Pauline, Anna, Mary, and Roseann. Private services are under the care of the Skirpan Funeral Home, Brownsville, PA. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park with full military rites accorded by American Legion Post 940, 838 and 275.
