Agnes (Sesock) Smith

Agnes Smith, age 93 of Bitner, PA and formerly of Shandytown, PA passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 in Uniontown Healthcare and Rehab. Center. She was born on April 11, 1931 to the late Joseph and Catherine Rush Sesock. Agnes was a member of St. Cecilia R. C Church for over 70 years and a member of the Christian Mothers for many years. She graduated from Holy Rosary Catholic School and was a member of Dunbar Fraternal Order of the Eagles. She was a loving mother and friend and would do anything for anybody. She enjoyed baking and going to the casino. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Smith ; her siblings, Elizabeth Sesock, Ann Tomko, Irene Logorda, Marie Potemry, Al Sesock and Leonard Sesock. Agnes is survived by her sons, Thomas J. Smith, Kenneth Smith and wife Sharon, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park St. Brownville, PA on Sunday from 3 - 8 PM and Monday until 9:30AM when a prayer service will be held, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Cecilia R.C. Church, Grindstone, PA with the Rev. Fr. Efren Ambre as celebrant.  Interment in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Smock, PA.
