Agatha (Kosevsky) Gnus

Agatha Gnus, 89, of East Millsboro, PA passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the home of her daughter - Constance Garofalo in Brownsville, PA. She was born on September 6, 1922 in Brownsville, PA Daughter of the late Phillip and Mary Rysh Kosevsky Agatha was a member of the former St. James R.C. Church of Maxwell, PA And a current member of The Historic Church of St. Peter - Brownsville, PA Former member of LTVFD Ladies Auxiliary She was preceded in death by her husband - Fred J. Gnus Also by 3 sisters and 1 brother Agatha is survived by her 2 children: Constance Garofalo and husband Carl with whom she resided with in Brownsville, PA Frederick P. Gnus - East Millsboro, PA 5 grandchildren: Anne Koval, Michael Garofalo, Steven Garofalo, Justin Newcomer, and Phillip Gnus 7 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Aiden, Wesley, Vincent, Joseph, Josephine, and Payton Friends will be received in The Skirpan Funeral Home 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9PM and on Monday until 9:30AM when a prayer service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at The Historic Church of St. Peter - Brownsville, PA with the Rev. Fr. James Petrovsky as celebrant. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. The Family would like to thank Bonnie Tarter for all of her help and also Amedisys Home Health of Masontown, especially Nurse Mary Myers and Aide Lisa Jones.
